Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhat are back with their periodic drama ‘Kalank’. The film depicts the story from the year 1945 when India was a colonial state. The movie stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The trailer of the movie is very liked by the audience and everyone is now eagerly waiting for the movie.

As per reports movie was visualized by late filmmaker Yash Johar around 15 years ago and he even visited Pakistan to pick up the nuances from the place to recreate Pakistan for the shoot.

The star cast arrived in Delhi and a press conference was also held on Saturday where Alia Bhat, Varun Dhwan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Sonakshi Sinha were present.

The media asked to the cast that is there any message in the movie. Answering to that Varun said ‘The movie doesn’t use any religion to make any point about anything.” And Alia said, ‘It on your own that you take any message from the film.”

The film is directed by Abhishek Verman.
